The makers of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Jailer have announced on Twitter that the movie will arrive in the cinemas on August 10.

The announcement came with a teaser, which gave blink-and-you-miss shots of the entire cast, on Thursday evening. “#Jailer is all set to hunt from August 10th💥,” reads the tweet posted by Sun Pictures.

The 47-second-long -teaser is backed by an energetic background score by Anirudh Ravichander and gives a brief glimpse of all the main characters. We get to see Mohan Lal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar and Sunil’s characters before Rajinikanth makes his typical entry. The Kabali actor kicks open the door of an SUV and comes out of the vehicle, staring directly into the camera before flashing a smile.

Jailer is directed by Doctor-helmer Nelson Dilipkumar and features Rajinikanth in the lead role. Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Sunil and Vinayakan also feature in the film. Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar will appear in cameo roles.

Apart from them, the movie also features Vasanth Ravi, Naga Babu, Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq, Kishore, Billy Muralee, Sugunthan, Karate Karthi, Mithun, Arshad, Marimuthu, Namo Narayana, Rithvik, Ananth, Saravanan, Aranthaangi Nisha, Mahanadi Shankar and Kalai Arasan.

The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan and editor R Nirmal are part of the technical crew.
