Actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan met and shared a light moment in a studio in Chennai on Thursday while shooting for their films Thalaivar 170 and Indian 2 respectively. The two stars were found shooting in the same studio after 21 years.
Lyca Productions shared a set of pictures of both Rajinikanth and Kamal sharing a moment during their shooting break.

“And we @LycaProductions are super happy & proud to be producing both the films!” it added.
Fans reacted to the pictures on the microblogging platform to share their joy at seeing the two stars. “Decades may pass but the love they have for each other remains the same. Lucky to witness such Legendary Friendship,” one of them commented under Lyca Productions’s post.
After the success of Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer, Rajinikanth is currently shooting for TJ Gnanavel’s Thalaivar 170. Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati, the film is expected to be released in 2024.
Kamal Haasan, on the other hand, is filming for S. Shankar’s Indian 2, a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster Indian. It also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Nedumudi Venu and Gulshan Grover in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the soundtrack for the movie.
