Actor Ram Charan led his father-in-law Chranjeevi to the dance floor to break a leg with American rapper Raja Kumari, who was performing Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan title track at the RRR actor’s Diwali bash in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Sharing a clip of her performance, the 37-year-old rapper expressed her gratitude towards Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan for making her experience the “most beautiful Deepavali”. She recently collaborated with composer Anirudh Ravichander for the Atlee-helmed film headlined by Shah Rukh.
In the video, Raja gave a captivating performance of Jawan’s title track as Chiranjeevi joined her and they both set the dance floor on fire. The rapper-songwriter sported a silk beige blouse coupled with a matching long skirt, while the South star wore a black t-shirt and olive trousers.
“Home is where the heart is ❤️ Thank You Hyderabad for the most beautiful Deepavali. Felt so good to hear Telugu spoken all around me with friends that truly love me,” the singer wrote, adding that nothing would beat “this vision board moment of dancing with Megastar @chiranjeevikonidela”.
The singer also dropped a series of pictures from the Diwali bash. The first picture shows Raja and Chiranjeevi posing for the camera alongside actress Lakshmi Manchu.
In another photo, the whole girl group, including Raja’s friend Vasuki Punj, was seen decked up in ethnic attire at a dinner table.
Raja went for a no-makeup look before lighting firecrackers on the night of Diwali and held a plate full of diyas.
The Wakhra Song singer took a selfie with actor Rana Daggubati, who attended the event in a deep blue kurta.
