Rain And Kim Ha Neul’s upcoming Korean drama Red Swan is slated to hit Disney+ Hotstar on July 3, the streamer announced on Friday, sharing a teaser of the show.

“There's more than meets the eye in the world of the Hwain Group. Watch #RedSwan, streaming from July 3 on #DisneyPlusHotstar,” the streamer wrote alongside the teaser.

The one-minute-53-second-long teaser shows Oh Wan-soo’s (Kim Ha Neul) rags-to-riches story. Being born in a poor family, Wan-soo turns her life around and becomes the best golf player. To fit into the upper-class lifestyle, she marries the successor of the Hwain Group. While working as the chairperson of a foundation group, Wan-soo gains global fame. However, after Rain’s Do-Yoon is appointed as her bodyguard, Wan-soo is forced to confront a secret of the Hwain family. Do-Yoon goes to great lengths to protect her during a time when nobody can be trusted.

“Oh Wansoo, a world-class golfer married Kim Yonggu, heir to the Hwain Group. Her life changes when she narrowly escapes an assassination attempt in Manila. She develops feelings for her bodyguard Seo Doyoon unaware of Doyoon's motivations,” reads the official synopsis of the series as per IMDb.

Recently, a poster of the series was also dropped by the streamer. In the picture, Rain embraces Ha Neul, hinting that he will do anything to protect her at all costs. The actor has multiple injuries on his face and hand, indicating that he has been fighting for Ha Neul all along and is willing to continue doing the same.

The caption of the poster reveals the nature of their relationship. “Can't love, can't break up. A seductive but dangerous scam,” it reads.

Directed by Park Hong-kyun, Red Swan also stars Jung Gyu Woon, Seo Yi Sook, Yoon Je Moon and Ki Eun Se.
