Actress Raashii Khanna has bowled over fans with her melodious rendition of Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic song Lag Ja Gale from the 1964 film Wo Kaun Thi?.
A video clip of Raashii singing the song in a cut-out black bodycon dress went viral on social media after a fan page posted it on Instagram.
The Farzi actress shared the fan-page video on her Instagram story on Wednesday and also thanked the page in the comments section of the post. “❤️ Thankyou for this,” she wrote.
The 1964 song from Raj Khosla’s thriller mystery is one of Mangeshkar’s most well remembered songs through decades. Raashii had revealed in an interview that the song was one of her and her mother’s favourite tracks and she would listen to it every time she travels by a car.
The 32-year-old actress debuted in a supporting role in the 2013 film Madras Cafe. She shot to national fame with the Shahid Kapoor-Vijay Setupathi starrer Amazon Prime series Farzi. Rashii will soon be seen in the Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Yodha and the Tamil-language film Aranmanai 4 alongside Sundar C. and Tamannaah Bhatia.
