Raangi
Sun TV has dropped the trailer for its upcoming Tamil-language action thriller film Raangi. Directed by M Saravanan, the film stars Trisha Krishnan, Anaswara Rajan, John Mahendran, Lizzie Antony and Gopi Kannadasan in important roles.
The one-minute-30-second-long trailer takes us to a war-torn area where children fall victim to violence. We are then introduced to Trisha’s character, a rowdy lady who picks fights with the bad guys. She is also at odds with the cops. The trailer also introduces us to a young militant and a girl trapped in war.
Raangi is slated to release theatrically on December 30.
Udanpaal
Think Music India has dropped the trailer of Karthik Seenivasan’s Tamil-language film Udanpaal. The film stars Linga, Gayathri, Vivek Prasanna, Abarnathi, VTM Charlie, Dheena and Dhanam in pivotal roles. The story of Udanpaal has been jointly written by A.R. Raghavendran and Karthik Seenivasan.
The two-minute-11-second-long trailer depicts the tale of a family in which the son and other members are plotting to kill the patriarch to take his properties. Going by the trailer, the film appears to be a black comedy.
Udanpaal will premiere on Aha Tamil on December 30.
Vir Das: Landing
Netflix has released the trailer of comedian-actor Vir Das’ upcoming stand-up comedy special Vir Das: Landing.
In the one-minute-33-second-long trailer, Vir is seen on stage in a foreign country. He talks about his recent troubles in India. Vir is seen landing jokes on himself, Indian politics and history in the trailer.
Vir Das: Landing will arrive on Netflix on December 26.
Tamilkkudimagan
The teaser of the upcoming Tamil-language film Tamilkkudimagan is out. Written and directed by Esakki Kaarvannan and produced by E.Hariramakrishnan, the film stars Cheran and Sri Priyanka in lead roles.
The one-minute-15-second-long teaser introduces us to the main characters of the film. Going by the trailer, the film seems to be a story about an Indian village, where women have to bear the brunt of indiscriminate violence. The trailer also sheds light on caste discrimination.
