Actor R. Madhavan has landed in Kolkata reportedly for the shooting of a project with Tollywood star Shaheb Chattopadhyay in the city.
According to media reports, R. Madhavan was seen with Shaheb in Kumortuli on Wednesday. The Railway Men actor also shared a video of Kolkata’s streets captured from his car on Instagram. “Kolkotta....Jhaalmudi Time,” he captioned the clip on his Instagram Story.

Recently, Shaheb announced on Instagram that he was in Mumbai for a new project. “On my 5th trip to Mumbai for shooting...details can't disclose now..but you will be happy for me,” he wrote.
On the work front, Shaheb was last seen in Nirmal Chakraborty’s Datta (2023). In the film, he shared screen space with Rituparna Sengupta, Joy Sengupta, Biswajit Chakraborty, and Devlina Kumar.
Madhavan last appeared in Vikas Bahl’s supernatural drama Shaitaan, co-starring Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala and Anngad Raaj. According to industry data-tracking site Sacnilk, Shaitaan grossed Rs 213.79 crore nett at the global box office.
Madhavan has also teamed up with Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal for a new film helmed by Aditya Dhar. The film is reportedly titled Dhurandhar and it is expected to hit theatres next year.
