Priyanka Chopra is set to star in the Amazon Studios film Heads of State alongside Hollywood A-listers Idris Elba and John Cena, the actress revealed via an Instagram post on Thursday.
The actress shared a screenshot of the online news site Deadline to reveal details about her upcoming film.
Directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec, Heads of State is reported to be an actioner and a mix between Air Force One and Midnight Run. The project will be Priyanka’s second stint with the production house. The 40-year-old actress is already geared up for the upcoming Amazon Prime Video web series Citadel, which she co-leads with Bodyguard star Richard Madden.
John Cena, Idris Elba and Marcus Viscidi are also serving as the executive producers of Heads of State. It will go on the floor in May this year.
Apart from these, the Citadel actress will share screen space with Sam Heughan in the upcoming romcom Love Again, which is scheduled to be released on May 12.
