“Husband appreciation post: As I finish one he starts one. The universe keeps us in sync,” the 41-year-old actress wrote on Instagram alongside a portrait of Nick. “So happy to be reunited as he starts filming Power Ballad,” she added.

Congratulating her husband on his first day of shoot, the Citadel actress wrote, “There is no one who works harder than you. This is going to be amazing.”

Also starring Paul Rudd, Power Ballad is directed by Once and Sing Street helmer John Carney. Its screenplay is written by Carney and Peter McDonald. “An uplifting music-driven story about a wedding singer, a rock star and the song that comes between them,” reads the official description of the film.

Jonas, who is part of the American boy band The Jonas Brothers, recently informed his fans that they had to reschedule their tour dates in Mexico as he was

suffering from a “nasty strain of influenza-A”. The shows have been postponed to August 21 and 22 in Mexico City and on August 24 and 25 in Monterrey.

After shooting for Heads of State, Priyanka is set to appear in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. She recently lent her voice to a real-life tigress in Disney Nature’s upcoming film Tiger, which released on April 22 to mark Earth Day.
