Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas was felicitated at the ongoing fourth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for her contribution to the film industry over the years. Priyanka’s husband, singer-songwriter Nick Jonas, accompanied her to the festival, which was also attended by Johnny Depp and Dev Patel among other notable figures. Dressed in a stunning Oscar de la Renta origami rose bugle bead gown, Priyanka received the Red Sea Honoree Award at the closing ceremony of the film festival.
Nick Jonas’s crisp black suit perfectly complemented his wife’s metallic ensemble. The 32-year-old singer-songwriter will soon star in John Carney’s upcoming musical comedy Power Ballad alongside Paul Rudd and Jack Reynor.
Priyanka and Nick posed for a picture with Red Sea Film Foundation chairperson Viola Davis and British actor-filmmaker Dev Patel.
Priyanka was all smiles as she held Nick’s arm while walking the red carpet. The couple tied the knot in December 2018 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. They welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, in January 2022.
On the work front, Priyanka is set to return as spy agent Nadia Sinh in Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO’s Citadel Season 2. The 42-year-old actress has wrapped up shooting for her upcoming action film, The Bluff, helmed by Frank Ewen Flowers. Additionally, Priyanka has Ilya Naishuller’s Heads of State in the pipeline. She is expected to be a part of Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa along with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
Monkey Man director Dev Patel walked the red carpet with producer Shivani Pandya. Dev’s white blazer offered a striking contrast to Shivani’s black co-ord set.
Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp interacted with fans at the festival’s closing ceremony. The 61-year-old actor looked dapper in a monochrome suit.
Depp attended the screening of his directorial venture, Modi - Three Days on the Wing of Madness, a biographical drama based on the life of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani.
The fourth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF), kicked off on December 4 in the historic Al-Balad district of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As per media reports, over 120 films from 81 countries are being screened at this year’s festival, slated to conclude on December 14.
