Fans of Priyanka Chopra Jonas in India have a new reason to cheer for. The actor-producer says she is looking forward to her first trip to India in almost three years since the coronavirus pandemic broke out.
Priyanka, who is now based out of Los Angeles, took to Instagram to share the update.
"Finally going home. After almost 3 years," Priyanka wrote on her Instagram stories along with a picture of her boarding pass.
This tour also marks her daughter Malti Marie Jonas' first visit to the country. Priyanka and Nick Jonas tied the knot in December, 2018 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. They stayed at their Los Angeles residence during the Covid pandemic. The couple had announced in January that they have become parents through surrogacy.
Last week, Priyanka and Nick celebrated Diwali in Los Angeles with their family and friends. Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra was also in attendance. It was their daughter Malti Marie's first Diwali, and the parents were visibly excited.
On the work front, the actor will next be seen in the romance drama It's All Coming Back to Me with Sam Heughan and the Amazon Studio spy series Citadel, co-starring Richard Madden of Game of Thrones fame.
Her next Hindi film is Jee Le Zara, to be directed by actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar. Priyanka will star alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the roadtrip movie.
