Priyanka Chopra gives a shoutout to cousin Mannara Chopra for winning ‘The Most Influential Young Indian’ award

Mannara re-shared Priyanka’s story on her Instagram handle and thanked the Citadel actress for her love and support

Actress Priyanka Chopra on Friday congratulated her cousin Mannara Chopra on her Instagram story after the latter won ‘The Most Influential Young Indian’ award by GQ magazine.

“Congratulations @memannara,” the Love Again actress wrote on her Instagram story alongside a post shared by Mannara.

Mannara re-shared Priyanka’s story on her Instagram handle and thanked the Citadel actress for her love and support. “Thank you, didi. We have to celebrate when we meet - love you hamesha,” the 33-year-old actress-model wrote.

On Friday, Mannara attended the award ceremony in a black cut-out dress. Her hair was tonged into open curls. Smokey eyes, coral lip shade and drop earrings completed her look.

“Feeling blessed to receive the #GQ 35 Most Influential Young Indians award. Thank you, @gqindia, for this recognition. 💙 Last night was magical,” she wrote alongside a picture of her holding her award.

The Most Influential Young Indians award celebrates India’s youth power. With contributions made across various fields, this year’s award was given to individuals who are “leaders of powerful tribes, and personalities bearing influence over millions across the globe”.

Mannara was honoured alongside actors like Tiger Shroff, Vijay Varma, Nayanthara, Bhumi Pednekar, Kunal Kemmu, Sanya Malhotra, Rajkummar Rao and Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh. Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, fashion designer Kunal Rawal, and producers Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha also received the award.
