Actress Priyanka Chopra has started filming for her upcoming thriller The Bluff in Australia, she said on her Instagram story on Friday.
“It begins…” the 41-year-old actress wrote alongside a shot of the script taken during a reading session.
Four days back, the Love Again actress shared a video documenting her arrival in Australia with her daughter Malti Marie Jonas. It kicks off by showing a breathtaking view from her aeroplane window. At the end of the video, we can see Malti looking outside a window at the airport and playing on a tablet while resting her head on Priyanka’s lap.
“Touchdown..The Bluff. With the best travel partner ever,” she captioned the video.
Directed by Frank Ewen Flowers, the upcoming thriller also stars The Boys actor Karl Urban. It is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO.
The Bluff marks Priyanka’s second collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO after the spy action series Citadel, which also stars Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville. The show has been renewed for a second season.
In The Bluff, Priyanka will play a former female pirate who must protect her family ‘when mysterious sins from her past resurface’, according to IMDb’s official synopsis.
Priyanka has recently joined the team of Barry Avrich’s upcoming documentary Born Hungry as a producer. The Baywatch actress has also lent her voice to a real-life tigress in Disney Nature’s film Tiger, which released on April 22 to mark Earth Day.
