Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has fuelled speculation about a possible Salaar-K.G.F. crossover, saying his character Shiv Mannar from Prashanth Neel-helmed Salaar: Part 1 — Ceasefire has a connection with another cinematic universe created by the director.

The revelation was made on Tuesday when a fan expressed his admiration for Shiva Mannar on X, prompting a reply from the actor. “How cool Shiv Mannar would have been to single handedly do what he did.. #PrithvirajSukumaran #Salaar I really wish I could see a bit more of him,” the fan wrote, to which Prithviraj replied, “Of all the stories Prashanth has told me..Shiv Mannar’s is probably the coolest. Headlined by Prabhas, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire hit theaters on December 22, 2023, amassing a staggering Rs 617 crore gross at the global box office. While Prabhas portrayed Devaratha, Prithviraj essayed the dual roles of Vardha Raja and Shiva Mannar in the action-packed saga.
