A video of Preity Zinta in a shimmery white gown at this year’s Cannes Film Festival has been doing the rounds on social media.
Clad in her pearl white gown featuring bow details around the sleeves, Preity twirls in the video an. Pearl earrings and a high bun complemented her look.
The 49-year-old actress is currently in Cannes to present the Pierre Angenieux Award to Indian cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who had shot her 1998 film Dil Se co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. They are collaborating for the second time for her upcoming film Lahore 1947, which will also feature Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi.
Lahore 1947, helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi, marks Sunny and Preity’s reunion after some years. They worked together on films like Dillagi (1999), The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2003), Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke (2001), Farz (2001) and Heroes (2008).
Preity has been actively sharing behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of Lahore 1947. Recently, she dropped a set of pictures featuring Santoshi.
Way back in 2006, Preity made her Cannes debut and attended the premieres of The Wind That Shakes The Barley and Paris, Je T'aime. In 2013, she attended the festival as the brand ambassador of the luxury watch brand Chopard.
Preity was last seen in the 2018 action-comedy Bhaiaji Superhit alongside Sunny. Sunny, on the other hand, last starred in Gadar 2, and has the films Baap and Soorya in the pipeline apart from Lahore 1947.
