Actress and IPL team Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta on Wednesday teased her upcoming fitness project DriveFITT in collaboration with Team India batter Shubman Gill, aiming to bring cricket and fitness together.

“Hi everyone, I’m very excited to share my new project with all of you. Stay tuned for @drive_fitt where cricket meets fitness - COMING SOON,” the 49-year-old actress wrote alongside a teaser.

The video features the Veer-Zaara actress sporting a black blazer and jeans, and posing for the lens with Shubman, who holds a cricket bat over his shoulders. Preity and Shubman can be seen posing with cricket bats and a ball in the video, which also shows the actress using a dumbbell.

Fans flooded the comments section of the post with their love for Shubman and their excitement for the joint project. “Let’s go. So excited,” one of them wrote. “Love you Gill,” another fan commented.

Shubman also took to his Instagram Stories and shared behind-the-scenes footage of the teaser on Wednesday.

Preity was last seen in the 2018 action-comedy Bhaiaji Superhit alongside Sunny Deol. She is set to star in Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming film Lahore 1947, which will also feature Sunny and Shabana Azmi.
