Actress Preity Zinta penned a heartfelt note for her husband Gene Goodenough on their eighth wedding anniversary on Thursday, calling the latter her “love for all reasons and for all seasons”.
“Happy Anniversary to my better half ❤️ What can I say about you. You are my love for all reasons & for all seasons,” the 49-year-old actress wrote on Instagram alongside pictures of the couple together.
Expressing her gratitude towards Gene for being the “best” husband and father and for “holding fort” when she is not at home, Preity said, “I love you to the moon and back.”
In the first picture, Gene kisses Preity’s cheeks as the latter smiles heartily. The Veer-Zaara actress also shared a picture of them inside a helicopter and on a beach.
Recently, Preity wished her husband on Valentine’s Day. “Happy Valentine's Day to all of you and to my forever Valentine,” she wrote alongside pictures of them from their outings.
The Kal Ho Na Ho actress celebrated her 49th birthday on February 1 and shared glimpses of her celebration on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone for all the love & for the wonderful wishes. I love you all. Wish you loads of love & light always,” she wrote alongside pictures of her with her birthday cake.
Preity tied the knot with Gene, an American financial analyst, on February 29, 2016 in Los Angeles. The couple became parents to twins Jai and Gia in 2021.
Preity, who made her acting debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Mani Ratnam’s 1998 romantic thriller Dil Se, was last seen in an episode of the 2020 American sitcom Fresh Off the Boat alongside comedian-actor Vir Das.
