Salaar raked in over Rs 659 crore within the first two weeks of its release

The makers of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire hosted a success party with the cast and crew of the Prabhas-starrer actioner on January 8.

Salaar director Prashanth Neel, producer Vijay Kiragandur, lead actors Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, music composer Ravi Basrur and distributor Anil Thadani were present on the occasion.

“The blockbuster success calls for a BLOCKBUSTER CELEBRATION,” wrote Hombale Films on Instagram alongside a picture of Kiragandur, Neel, Prabhas and Sukumaran at the party on Monday.

Also featuring Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu Bobby Simha, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Mime Gopu in important roles, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire released theatrically on December 22, 2023.

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire emerged as the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2023, garnering over Rs 659 crores within the first two weeks of its release. The epic action drama went on to become the fifth highest grossing Indian film of 2023, surpassing Rajinikanth’s Jailer, Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire is awaiting release in Japan and Latin America. While the film is slated to hit theatres in Japan this summer, its Spanish version will be released in Latin America on March 7.

The triumphant run of Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire has raised expectations for Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam, which is scheduled to go on grounds in 2024.
