Actor Prabhudeva and music composer A.R. Rahman’s new project is titled Moon Walk, revealed a poster shared by the Oscar-winning music composer on Wednesday.

Both Prabhudeva and Rahman are teaming up for the upcoming film, previously titled ARRPD6, 25 years after they last collaborated on Rajiv Menon’s 1997 musical Minsara Kanavu.

“Moon Walk. Starring @prabhudevaofficial #YogiBabu @ajuvarghese @arjun_ashokan @sathishkumardsatz @nishma_chengappa @_sushmitha_nayak #arrpd6 #moonwalk,” the 57-year-old music composer captioned his post on Instagram.

The posters promise a narrative that would make viewers “laugh, dance and sing along”. Directed by Manoj N. S., Moon Walk also features Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Batz, Nishma Chengappa, Sushmita Nayak and Redin Kingsley in key roles.

Prabhudeva’s iconic dance pose on one of the posters hints at a dance drama, similar to choreographer-filmmaker Remo D'Souza’s ABCD franchise. While the first instalment of the franchise featured Prabhudeva alongside Ganesh Acharya and Kay Kay Menon in the lead roles, the sequel starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.

Moon Walk is produced by Manoj N. S., Divya Manoj and Dr Praveen Elak. The release date of the film has not been announced yet.

Prabhudeva was last seen in Yogaraj Bhat’s action drama Karataka Damanaka, where he shared screen space with Shiva Rajkumar, Priya Anand and Nishvika Naidu.

Rahman recently launched a website featuring exclusive curated content. He has composed soundtracks for five consecutive films — Lal Salaam, Ayalaan, Aadujeevitham, Maidaan, and Amar Singh Chamkila. He has Dhanush’s Raayan and Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947 in the pipeline.
