The release of Prabhas’ much-awaited action-drama film Salaar: Part 1 — Ceasefire has been delayed owing to “unforeseen circumstances”, production house Hombale Films announced on Wednesday.
The makers have not announced a new release date for the film, earlier slated to hit theatres on September 28. .
"We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for #Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances," the official X handle of Hombale Films wrote.
"Please understand this decision is made with care, as we're committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards," the statement read.
"The new release date will be revealed in due course. Stay with us as we make the final touches on #SalaarCeaseFire and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey," it further read.
The film, which also stars Prithiviraj Sukumaran and other talented actors, has generated immense anticipation and curiosity among fans. Directed by Prashanth Neel, known for his blockbuster hit KGF: Chapter 1 and 2, Salaar: Part 1 — Ceasefire promises to be a visual spectacle that showcases the immense talent and charisma of Prabhas.
