Nag Ashwinโs sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD breached the Rs 1,100-crore mark globally on the 29th day of its theatrical run, the makers announced on Thursday.

Kalki 2898 AD is the sixth Indian film of all time to achieve this milestone. The other films which crossed the Rs 1,100-crore mark in the past include Aamir Khanโs Dangal (Rs 2,024 crore), Prabhasโs Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1,810 crore), S.S. Rajamouli-helmed RRR (Rs 1,387 crore), Yash-starrer K.G.F. Chapter 2 (Rs 1,250 crore) and Shah Rukh Khanโs 2023 release Jawan (Rs 1,148 crore).
According to industry data-tracking portal Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD has amassed Rs 623.85 crore nett in India so far. This includes Rs 414.85 crore nett in the first week and an additional Rs 128.5 crore nett in the second week, Rs 56.1 crore nett in the third week and Rs 24.4 crore nett in the fourth week.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Amy Virk-starrer Bad Newz, which released in theatres on July 19, has managed to rake in Rs 42.85 crore nett in its first week of theatrical run.
