Actor Prabhas has launched a website designed to promote aspiring screenwriters, he announced on Instagram recently.
“Share your story, inspire the world on this platform, where writers bring their words to life and the audience votes to shape reality. Join the movement. Best wishes to the #TheScriptCraft team,” the 45-year-old actor wrote alongside a video announcing the website.
The website lets writers submit a 250-word synopsis of their screenplay, which will be then rated by the audience. The highest rated plot summaries will rise to the top of the feed.
For the website launch, the organisers are hosting a special contest on the topic ‘What if your favourite hero gains superpowers’. Writers can submit stories within 3,500 words and the winner will receive an opportunity to work on a film project as an assistant director or writer.
On the work front, Prabhas is set to headline Maruthi Dasari’s upcoming horror film The Raja Saab. In the film, the Baahubali actor will share screen space with Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar. The Raja Saab is slated to release in theatres on April 10, 2025.
The actor also has an upcoming film with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi in the pipeline. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, the film also stars Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada. Prabhas’s Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam and Fauji are also in production.
