Actress Pooja Bhatt praised her Sadak co-star Deepak Tijori in a heartfelt note on Thursday, calling him her “4am” friend, ahead of the trailer release of the actor-filmmaker’s upcoming movie Tipppsy.
“30 plus years of shared laughter, tears, joy & some truly testing times...through it all you remained steady & a friend I could call at 4.00 am through any crisis,” wrote Pooja on Instagram alongside then-and-now pictures of her and Tijori.
Pooja went on to express her unwavering support for her friend with whom she starred in Mahesh Bhatt’s 1991 romantic action thriller Sadak. “Big day today as your trailer of @tipppsymovie releases in a few hours. So proud of how you endure on. Which is why I am going to be there to cheer you and your team on,” added the Bombay Begums actress.
Paying a heartwarming tribute to decades of shared experiences, Pooja reflected on her friendship with Deepak, writing about how it has transcended boundaries of cinema and professional life. “Life is cinema & cinema is life...but friendship is what occurs between takes and lasts long after the greasepaint is removed & the lights turned off. Love you,” she said.
On the work front, Pooja was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s coming-of-age web series Big Girls Don't Cry.
The trailer of Deepak’s upcoming film Tipppsy came out on Thursday. It revolves around a group of girls who get intoxicated during a bachelorette party in Goa. Also starring Alankrita Sahai and Kainaat Arora in key roles, the film is slated to hit the screens on May 10.
