Trisha Krishnan, one of the most celebrated actresses in Tamil cinema, has completed 22 years in the film industry. The actress, who made her debut in 2002 with the romantic drama Mounam Pesiyadhe, celebrated her career anniversary with a witty social media post.
In her post, Trisha shared a photograph of herself with a monkey perched on her shoulder in a candid and whimsical moment. “Honoured to be part of this magic called cinema for 22 years. Thank you all,” she wrote in the caption.
Trisha was last seen in a special appearance in The Greatest of All Time alongside Thalapathy Vijay. She is gearing up for some big releases, including Ajith Kumar's much-anticipated films Good Bad Ugly and Vidaamuyarchi.
The actress is also set to appear in the Malayalam film Identity alongside actor Tovino Thomas, scheduled for release in January 2025. Later in the year, fans can look forward to Thug Life, a Mani Ratnam directorial in which Trisha will share the screen with Kamal Haasan. The actress will also appear in a Telugu film, Vishwambhara, alongside Chiranjeevi.
Trisha is all set to reunite with her Mounam Pesiyadhe co-star Suriya after 20 years. She is confirmed to be part of Suriya 45, an upcoming film directed by RJ Balaji, who took to X to make the announcement. Sharing a poster of the film, Balaji wrote, “Congratulations on 22 glorious years, @trishtrashers. And we are elated to start the 23rd year with #Suriya45.”
