Pawan Kalyan takes on the role of a vigilante hero, while Bobby Deol plays Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in action-packed period drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword Vs Spirit, the teaser of which was dropped by the makers on Thursday.

The one-minute-38-second teaser begins with scenes of oppression, showing Aurangzeb's soldiers looting and killing the common people. Frustrated with the exploitation and torture, the hapless people hope for a saviour to show up. In comes Pawan Kalyan's character Veera Mallu, a fearless warrior ready to single handedly confront an entire army.
Directed and written by Krish Jagarlamudi, Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword Vs Spirit features Nidhi Agerwal, Nora Fatehi, Vikramjeet Virk, Nargis Fakhri, Jisshu Sengupta, Dalip Tahil, and Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles.
Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani has composed the music for the film, while Ben Lock — known for his work on blockbuster films like Aquaman, Warcraft, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens — has worked on the visual effects.
