John Abraham’s character in the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone-starrer Pathaan is called Jim, the makers of the Siddharth Anand-directed action drama have revealed in their recently dropped jukebox.

Touted as an action spectacle, Pathaan features John’s Jim as Shah Rukh’s arch-enemy, who is as dangerous as the gun-trotting spy played by Shah Rukh in the film.

Pathaan, a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe, is set to release in theatres on January 25, 2023. The makers of the film have released two songs — Besharam Rang and Jhoome Jo Pathaan — so far, and both the numbers have garnered immense response from viewers. The theatrical trailer of the film is likely to be out in January.

Yash Raj Films released the jukebox of Pathaan on Friday and it interestingly has a Pathaan theme track and a Jim theme track, which led to fans figuring out that John, who plays Pathaan’s arch-enemy, is going to be called Jim in the film.

“I have always believed in the fact that the villain’s projection should be as big, if not bigger than that of the hero’s. Only when the villain is massive, can the tussle between them be spectacular. And we have an extraordinary battle when SRK takes on John,” Siddharth said in a statement.
