Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha say they’re overwhelmed with ‘love and positivity’

Actress Parineeti Chopra and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha have shared a heartfelt note, thanking their friends, family, fans and media persons for the love and support shown towards the newly engaged couple.

“Raghav and I are overwhelmed with the love and abundance of positivity we have received over the past few weeks, particularly on our engagement. We both come from different worlds, and it's amazing to know that our worlds also unite with our union. We have gained a bigger family than we could have ever imagined,” the note Parineeti shared on Instagram read.

The Ishaqzaade star further wrote, “We are so touched by everything we have read/seen, and we cannot thank you all enough. We embark on this journey knowing that you all are standing with us.”

Raghav also shared the note on his Instagram.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader also replied to Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s congratulatory note for the couple on Twitter.

“Many many congratulations to both of you on the beginning of this new journey of life. God bless both of you always. May this beautiful pair of yours made by God last forever,” Arvind Kejriwal wrote in Hindi alongside his photos with the engaged couple from their roka ceremony.

Thanking Kejriwal, Raghav wrote in Hindi, “Sir, your blessings have made our special day even more special. Heartfelt gratitude to you and your family from Parineeti and me. This little friend of yours is starting a new innings of life today, I wish that your blessings remain like this forever.”

Parineeti and Raghav got engaged in an intimate roka ceremony on Saturday in the presence of friends and family at Kapurthala House, New Delhi. Their wedding is scheduled to take place in October this year.
