Pakistani actress Hania Aamir had a fangirl moment on stage at Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati concert in London recently, she said on Tuesday, dropping photos from the packed O2 Arena show.
“Hona ni mai recover. What a night. It was magic. The love, the respect, the soul. Impeccable. It was all heart. @diljitdosanjh sir ek he dil hai kitni dafa jeeto ge. Pyar aur sirf pyar,” the 27-year-old actress wrote alongside the pictures on Instagram. “An honour to have come across so many beautiful souls. Truly memorable. Thank you for all your love and warmth,” she added.
The first picture shows Hania sharing the stage with Diljit. While Diljit sported a black parachute jacket paired with a grey t-shirt and black cargo pants, Hania twinned with him in a black varsity jacket worn over a white top and red mini skirt.
Hania also shared videos of Diljit performing and gesturing to her to join him on stage. He handed over the mic to Hania during the show and she thanked the audience in both English and Urdu, a moment which won the internet. Other pictures show Hania enjoying the concert with her friends and riding the London tube together.
“Thank you very much. Hi, London. Shukriya bohut bohut aapka (Thanks a lot). Thank you very much for having all of us, for entertaining us. Thank you,” Hania said on stage. As she left the stage, Diljit said in punjabi, “I’m a fan of yours and your work. You are doing an amazing job. Thank you. Thanks for coming. You came, thanks a lot for that. Thank you, appreciate it.”
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan took to the comments section and dropped heart-eyes and fire emojis to express her love for the duo. Fans gushed over the unexpected collaboration as the pictures and videos started doing the rounds on social media. “The internet has literally exploded and it continues,” one of them commented on the pictures shared by Hania.
Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour kicked off on April 27 in Vancouver. The singer has performed in Vancouver, Illinois, Chicago, California and other cities in North America. He is all set to kick off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati tour on October 26 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi.
