Lindsay Lohan’s Avery finds herself in a spot of bother while spending the holidays with her boyfriend’s controlling mother (Kristin Chenoweth) and an unexpected guest, her ex-boyfriend (Ian Harding), in the trailer of Netflix’s upcoming holiday romcom Our Little Secret, dropped on Friday.

The two-minute-17-second-long trailer opens with Avery arriving at her boyfriend Cameron’s (Jon Rudnitsky) home to spend Christmas with his family. However, his mother proves to be a fastidious and intimidating presence. The situation further aggravates when Avery’s ex of ten years, Logan (Harding), arrives unexpectedly—and it turns out he is dating Cameron’s sister, Cassie (Katie Baker).

Avery requests Logan to keep their past relationship a secret to avoid giving Cameron’s mother another reason to undermine her. However, a series of unpredictable events soon puts Avery in a precarious position, where concealing the past may not be so easy.

The trailer also suggests a rekindling of old, repressed feelings between Avery and Logan as they realise how much they have each grown and changed over time.

Slated to hit Netflix on November 27, Our Little Secret marks Lohan’s third collaboration and second holiday feature with the streamer. She previously headlined Falling for Christmas in 2022 and starred in Irish Wish earlier this year, serving as an executive producer on both projects.

Our Little Secret is directed by Stephen Herek, with a screenplay by Hailey DeDominicis. The film is produced by Lisa Gooding and Mike Elliott, with Joseph P. Genier and Lohan serving as executive producers.
