Who is the host
Popular television anchor Jimmy Kimmel will host the Oscars this year. This will be his third stint as the host of the prestigious award show. Kimmel previously hosted the 89th Academy Awards in 2017 and the 90th Academy Awards in 2018.

India’s Deepika Padukone is one of the presenters at the 95th Oscars. The actress will be joining the likes of Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Four of the five songs nominated in the Best Original Song category at the 95th Oscars will be performed live at the awards show. This includes Naatu Naatu from S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR. Singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will be performing on the Oscars stage.
Rihanna will perform Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, while actor-singer Sofia Carson and songwriter Diane Warren will be crooning to Applause from Tell It like a Woman.
Academy award-winning singer David Byrne, Oscar-nominated actress Stephanie Hsu, and music band Son Lux will perform This Is A Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Grammy-winning musician Lenny Kravitz will be part of the ‘In Memoriam’ performance.

Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes is competing for the award for Best Documentary Feature Film. The Elephant Whisperers, directed by Kartiki Gonsalves, is eyeing an Oscar for the Best Documentary Short Film.
