Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed biographical thriller Oppenheimer is available for rent on Prime Video Store from November 22 for Rs 149, announces a short video released by the streaming platform on Tuesday.
Featuring Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, the clip comes up with inside news about the Hollywood movie’s digital release. “Prime bae is here with some big news! Oppenheimer on #PrimeVideoStore, Nov 22,” the official X handle of Prime Video writes alongside the clip.
Oppenheimer, headlined by Cillian Murphy, can also be rented on BMS Stream, Apple TV, Google TV and YouTube India. The rental period encompasses a 30-day window to commence viewing the video with a subsequent 48-hour duration to complete the watching experience once initiated.
Directed and written by Nolan, Oppenheimer delves into the complex and fascinating life of US physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, known for his pivotal role in the development of the atomic bomb. The film traces Oppenheimer's journey from his university days to his leadership of the Manhattan Project during World War II and his subsequent fall from grace.
Apart from Cillian Murphy, the star-studded cast also includes Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr. and Florence Pugh.
Released in cinemas alongside Greta Gerwig’s Barbie on July 21, Oppenheimer swiftly secured its position as the third highest-grossing movie of the year. It has now surpassed the impressive milestone of USD 950 million in global box office revenue, including USD 325 million from the US market and an impressive USD 625 million from international markets.
