Operation Fortune
Lionsgate Movies dropped the official trailer for its upcoming spy action comedy film Operation Fortune on Monday late evening. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the movie stars Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone and Hugh Grant.
The two-minute-24-second-long trailer takes us to the world of super spy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham), who must stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Fortune and his crew recruit Hollywood’s biggest movie star, Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett), to help them on their undercover mission to save the world.
Operation Fortune will arrive in cinemas on March 3.
Sex/Life Season 2
Netflix on Monday late evening released the official teaser for the second season of its American drama series Sex/Life. Created by Stacy Rukeyser, the series stars Sarah Shahi, Adam Demos, Mike Vogel, Wallis Day, Margaret Odette, Li Jun Li and Jonathan Sadowski.
The two-minute-18-second-long trailer shows Billie (Sarah Shahi) and Brad (Mike Vogel) rekindling their affair once again. The teaser also hints that Billie’s husband Cooper (Adam Demos) may be entering into a steamy affair of his own. The synopsis reads, “Billie navigates new challenges — and fresh desires — as she lusts after the life she wants. But will she be able to have it all?”
Sex/Life season 2 will be streaming on Netflix from March 2.
Children of the Corn
The trailer of the upcoming American horror-film Children of the Corn was released by the makers on Monday. It is based on a popular short story by Stephen King. Directed by Kurt Wimmer, the film stars Elena Kampouris, Kate Moyer, Callan Mulvey and Bruce Spence among others.
The one-minute-52-second-long trailer shows a 12-year-old girl who is possessed by a spirit. She recruits other children in her small town to rise up and take control. She leads the kids on a bloody rampage, killing the adults and anyone who opposes them.
Eravu
Goodwill Entertainments on Tuesday unveiled the official teaser of the upcoming Malayalam-language film Eravu. Directed by Fazlin Muhammad and Ajil Wilson, the film stars Ajil Wilson, Raj Zacharias, Namitha, Sarjano and Daniel Balaji.
The 37-second-long teaser introduces us to the world of Eravu. Set in the hilly forest region of Kerala, the video shows us a coffin, a forest chase sequence, a steamy love affair and a local hunter with his dog.
