A dreadlocks-sporting Akshay Kumar emerges from the Ganga as a messenger of Lord Shiva to come to the aid of his devotee Pankaj Tripathi’s fight to seek justice in the OMG 2 trailer, dropped by Viacom18 Studios on Thursday.

The three-minute-12-second-long trailer begins with the message that Akshay is not playing Lord Shiva but only a messenger of the god. Then we get to see how Kanti Sharan Mudgal (Pankaj), a devotee of Lord Shiva, suffers social humiliation after his son does something in school which results in his expulsion, shattering the youngster’s confidence and leading to a mental breakdown.
