Bollywood star Salman Khan saves AP Dhillon from a gang of goons and beats them black and blue in the music video of the Indo-canadian rapper’s latest single Old Money, which also features Sanjay Dutt in a cameo role.
Dropped by Dhillon on Friday, the five-minute-and-six-second music video has already garnered over 64,000 views on YouTube since its release. It opens with Dhillon receiving intel about his antagonist Shinda’s whereabouts. Upon reaching the place, the 31-year-old rapper engages in a fierce battle with goons but finds himself surrounded by enemies.
Enters Salman, saving Dhillon’s life and beating up the goons to a pulp. The lyrics of Old Money portray Salman and Dhillon as champions of goodness and justice, highlighting how their lack of greed for power or money endears them to women.
The following scenes reveal Sanjay as Salman and Dhillon’s gang leader. Salman cautions Dhillon that he is in trouble because Sanjay’s arch-enemy Shinda has escaped. Although Sanjay initially warns Dhillon that he cannot leave the gang without his consent, he ultimately condemns the use of violence, urging Dhillon to use his talent to track down Shinda instead of resorting to force.
Old Money reunites Salman and Sanjay after 12 years. They last appeared together in Ashwni Dhir’s Son of Sardaar (2012).
On the work front, Salman will next appear in A.R. Murugadoss’ Sikandar alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Trisha Krishnan and Sonakshi Sinha. Sikandar is scheduled to hit theatres on Eid 2025.
Sanjay, on the other hand, has Prem’s KD - The Devil, Tarun Mansukhani’s Housefull 5 and Puri Jagannadh’s Double ISMART in the pipeline. Additionally, the actor has teamed up with Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal for a new film helmed by Aditya Dhar.
Binnoy K Gandhi’s romantic drama Ghudchadi, starring Sanjay and Raveena Tandon, dropped on JioCinema today.
Dhillon is known for chartbusters like Summer High, Brown Munde, Scars and Real talk. He collaborated with Amazon Prime Video in 2022 to promote The Boys Season 3. A documentary on the musician, AP Dhillon: First of a Kind, premiered on Prime Video last year.
