Actor Jr NTR’s upcoming yet-untitled Telugu film with Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor was officially launched on Thursday with a pooja ceremony held in the presence of RRR director S.S. Rajamouli, who clapped the first shot of the shoot.
The project will reunite director Koratala Siva with Jr NTR after 2016’s action drama Janatha Garage. The upcoming film, bankrolled by NTR Arts, will also mark Janhvi’s debut in the Telugu film industry.
NTR Arts live-streamed the ceremony via its official YouTube channel.
In the video, Jr NTR shakes Janhvi’s hand and welcomes her for the launch. The actress can be seen draped in a light green saree and a matching blouse. We also see Jr NTR and Janhvi share the stage as Rajamouli claps the first shot. Apart from Rajamouli, KGF director Prashanth Neel also attended the event as one of the guests.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, director Koratala Siva said, “The film is set in a forgotten coastal land of India. It’s a very emotional story about how we live in a world that has more monsters than humans.”
Janhvi also took to Instagram to share glimpses of the ceremony. “Happy day ❤️☀️🙏🏼 The start of the most special journey #NTR30 🧿,” she wrote alongside the photos.
NTR Arts shared a picture of the garlanded shoot clapboard on Twitter. “#NTR30Begins on a grand and an auspicious note ❤️🔥” the tweet read.
