Nostalgia Film Festival gets extended: Catch Shah Rukh Khan’s DDLJ, Mohabbatein and Veer-Zaara in select PVR-INOX theatres

Organised by Yash Raj FIlms, the festival will return to select PVR-INOX theatres from February 9 to 15

Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) Nostalgia Film Festival, screening Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein and Veer-Zaara in select PVR-INOX theatres for a special price of Rs 112, has been extended from February 9 to 15.

The production company shared the news on X on Thursday. “A trip down memory lane with your favourite movies ❤️ #NostalgiaFilmFestival has been extended 💥 From 9th-15th Feb at @_PVRCinemas @INOXMovies Book your tickets for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein, Veer-Zaara at Rs. 112/-* T&C Apply,” it wrote on the microblogging site.

Beginning on January 19, YRF’s Nostalgia Film Festival initially ran till January 22 with a selection of Shah Rukh-starrers like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai and Chak De India.

Released in 1995, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is Aditya Chopra’s directorial debut and marks a milestone in Shah Rukh and Kajol’s career as they went on to become the most celebrated onscreen couple of Bollywood at the time.

Also helmed by Aditya Chopra, Mohabbatein (2000) starred Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan alongside Shah Rukh Khan. It follows the story of a strict principal (Amitabh) who clashes with a charming music teacher (Shah Rukh).

Veer-Zaara, which is centred on the love brewing between an Indian pilot and a Pakistani girl, was released in 2004. Directed by Yash Chopra, the film collected Rs 105 crore at the box office after its release. It also stars Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherji, Amitabh Bachchan and Manoj Bajpayee.
