Aparajita Adhya and Anusha Viswanathan star in the new Star Jalsha show Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha, which is the story of Kojagori Basu, a middle-aged woman who embraces every moment of her life with unwavering enthusiasm.

Kojagori Basu’s character is portrayed by Aparajita Adhya and Tota is played by Anusha Viswanathan. The show also features artistes like Chandan Sen, Anashua Majumdar, Arnab Banerjee, Debottam Majumder, Ipshita Mukherjee, Dulal Lahiri and many more.

Kojagori, a mother and a wife, lives every single day of her life with great zeal and curiosity, trying something new, living new dreams and throwing away all the criticism that comes her way. Her biggest supporter is Tota, her daughter, who constantly encourages and supports her. Living in a middle-class society, her enthusiasm faces constant criticism. But can all these criticisms stop her from dreaming and living life to the fullest?

Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha is produced under the banner of Magic Moments, which has gifted viewers of Bengal many stories of love, courage and resilience, from Ishtikutum, Kusumdola, Ichhenodee, Sreemoyee, Mohor to Khorkuto. Leena Gangopadhyay is the writer, creative director and producer while Saibal Banerjee is the director and producer.

Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha premieres on Star Jalsha on September 25, and airs Monday to Sunday at 9pm.
