Paddington, the beloved marmalade-loving bear, ends up with a hilarious passport photo in the new teaser of Paddington in Peru, the third instalment in the film series due to arrive in UK theatres in November.
Dropped by the makers on Tuesday, the one-minute-20-second long teaser shows the duffel-coated bear attempting to take a photo for his passport and embarking on a new adventure. It begins with Paddington trying to fit his head inside a circle at a photobooth for the picture. When he finally figures out what he needs to do in order to get the photo, he sticks his face to the glass wall and ends up with a hilarious picture.
What follows is a light-hearted moment at the airport with the staff not recognising the bear at a first glance. The teaser ends with Paddington trying his best to steer his boat on the Amazon river.
Paddington in Peru features Paddington travelling back to Peru to reunite with Aunt Lucy at the Home for Retired Bears. Accompanied by the Brown family, they embark on an unexpected adventure through the Amazon rainforest and the mountainous regions of Peru.
Ben Whishaw reprises his role as the voice of Paddington, while Imelda Staunton will return as the voice of Aunt Lucy. The cast also includes Hugh Bonneville, Dame Julie Walters, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin. Emily Mortimer is set to play the role of Mrs Brown from Sally Hawkins.
Paddington in Peru will be released on January 17, 2025 in the US, following its UK release on November 8 this year.
