September 26: Rick and Morty Season 6, Episode 4

Episode 4 of Rick and Morty Season 6 will be available to stream from September 26. The trailer for the fourth episode, titled Night Family, shows eccentric scientist Rick Sanchez revealing to his family that his body goes into automatic exercise mode at night.

September 26: A Trip to Infinity

A Trip to Infinity is a Netflix documentary that follows distinguished scientists and mathematicians offering an insight into the concept of infinity in an easy-to-grasp way. It dives deep into the meaning of infinity and its implications.

September 26: My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Chapter 2

Chapter 2 of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark follows the Generation Five characters of the franchise, which was introduced by the Netflix film My Little Pony: A New Generation in 2021. A trip back to the magical realm of Equestria is in store in Chapter 2 where earth horses, unicorns and pegasus ponies try to coexist. Princess Twilight Sparkle from Generation Four has a cameo.

September 27: Minions & More Volume 1

Minions & More Volume 1 is a compilation of short films featuring the Minions from Universal Pictures’ Illumination. The shorts from the Despicable Me franchise to feature in Volume 1 include Puppy, Yellow is the New Black and Training Wheels.

September 27: The Good Doctor Season 5

With Season 6 of the popular medical drama releasing in the US in October, Season 5 will stream on Netflix in India. The show follows Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a doctor on the autism spectrum, and his struggles in coping with his professional and personal life. Season 5 focuses on Shaun’s wedding to his fiancee Lea Dilallo (Paige Spara) and their tumultuous path to the day they tie the knot.

September 28: Blonde

Blonde is a fictional take on the life of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, played by Ana de Armas. Directed by Andrew Dominik, it is an adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates’s 2000 novel Blonde, which throws light on the untold side of the actress’s journey. The movie will explore Monroe’s private life including her relationships with famous personalities.

September 28: Eat the Rich: The GameStop Saga

Docu-series Eat the Rich: The GameStop Saga focuses on the GameStop stock market scandal caused by the Reddit community WallStreetBets members. The community members tried to artificially increase the value of the stocks of the gaming company GameStop. The docu-series acts both as a cautionary tale as well as a guide on investing in stocks.

September 29: The Empress

Based loosely on the early life of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, this series promises a period romantic drama along the lines of Bridgerton. Originally in German, the show will have English audio and explore how Elisabeth falls in love with and marries Franz, the emperor of Austria.

September 30: Plan A Plan B

Riteish Deshmukh-Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer Plan A Plan B sticks to the classic trope of a romcom. Riteish plays a lawyer who does not believe in love, while Tamannaah plays a matchmaker. The two opposing personalities meet, clash and eventually fall in love. Veere Di Wedding director Shashanka Ghosh’s film promises to be an easy watch.

September 30: Entergalactic

Following the success of adult animated shows like Love, Death & Robots, Netflix brings another adult animated series, Entergalactic. The show has been created in association with rapper Kid Cudi, whose eighth studio album, also called Entergalactic, serves as the soundtrack. The animated series follows rapper Jabari (voiced by Kid Cudi), who is on his journey to fame and has to decide if he has space in his life for love. Both the animated series and the album are set to release on September 30.

September 30: Phantom Pups Season 1

The light-hearted series follows a family that moves into a house haunted by the spirits of three puppies. The show explores the struggles and adventures of the two siblings in the family — a girl and a boy — as they find ways to turn the puppy ghosts back into dogs.

September 30: The Floor is Lava Season 3

Fans of game shows like Takeshi’s Castle are likely to enjoy this game show, which is back with its third season. Show contestants will face new obstacles before they can climb the volcano to win the prize money this season. Season 3 will feature celebrity contestants including wrestlers from All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
