Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s Devi Vishwakumar is on a roller coaster ride, juggling friendship, love and desires in the latest trailer of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever Season 4.
Difficult decisions await her as she returns to Sherman Oaks High School for her final year with her friends Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez) by her side. This time, Devi has to choose between three boys — Paxton (Darren Barnet), Ben (Jared Lewison) and a new entrant (played by Michael Cimino).
The one-minute-51-second trailer, dropped by Netflix on Tuesday, shows Devi coming to terms with leaving high school once and for all and dancing at a possible Indian wedding with her mother Nalini (Poorna Jagannathan) and cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani).
The trailer, which promises a ‘banging end’, also solves the mystery of Devi and Ben having done the deed. The two, however, aren’t on good terms, with Devi finding it awkward to face Ben after losing her virginity to him and catching him kissing another girl in school. The teenager deals with the possibility of going to Princeton and can be seen having a wild ride to her high school prom.
The final season of Never Have I Ever, created by executive producers Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, will premiere on Netflix on June 8 this year.
