Video games based on popular shows Money Heist: Ultimate Choice and Squid Games are slated to land on Netflix in 2024, the streamer recently announced in a blog post.

Netflix is all set to offer 86 video games to its subscribers without ads, in-app purchases or extra charges by the end of this year, mentions the blog post written by Netflix Games vice president Mike Verdu on Wednesday.

The announcement, which terms Netflix as a major destination for must-play games, came shortly after the release of Squid Game: The Challenge, a reality show inspired by the South Korean television series of the same name.

The ever-expanding catalogue of interactive fiction on Netflix has nearly 90 more games in development. While the three Grand Theft Auto games were released on Thursday, other titles available on the streaming platform include Football Manager 24 Mobile, Storyteller, Oxenfree II: Lost Signals and Netflix Stories: Love is Blind.

Besides curating the games row to be more relevant for each user, Netflix Games is also rolling out tests to make the games accessible on all devices including televisions and mobile phones.
