Netflix has teased the fourth season of Emily In Paris with pictures of Lily Collins, who plays the romcom show’s titular character, with a table-read draft of the upcoming season’s first episode written by Grant Sloss and directed by Andy Fleming.
“Bonjour Emily In Paris is all set to return with Season 4, only on Netflix,” the streaming platform captioned the photos on Friday.
Emily In Paris, created by Darren Star, revolves around the life of marketing executive Emily Cooper, who is sent to Paris to provide an American perspective to a French firm. However, she faces extreme cultural clashes while trying to adjust to Parisian life and struggles with career, romance and friendships.
Season 4 of the show will pick up the threads of the last season that showed Emily committing herself to a relationship with London-based Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) while maintaining her friendship with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).
Earlier, Netflix had shared an announcement video featuring Lily who had given hints for the upcoming season. “Emily is going to have to decide if everything she has ever wanted is really what she needs,” the British-American actress says in the video.
“So, don’t be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday,” she signs off, hinting that the new season might see Emily in Italy.
