Sex Education unveils Season 4 look
The popular Netflix original, Sex Educaion, is back with the first look of Season 4. Going by the reel shared on Netflix’s Instagram account, a lot has changed in Moordale High over the last few years, with the last season ending with Maeve leaving for America to attend Wallace University.
Otis and Eric will now be attending Cavendish Sixth Form College instead of Moordale High. Ruby and Otis might be getting back together. The star cast of Asa Butterfield (Otis), Emma Mackey (Maeve), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric), Gillian Anderson (Dr Jean) and Mimi Keene (Ruby) return with the newest addition of Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy, joining the cast as Mr Molloy.
Sex Education premiered on Netflix in 2019 and has aired three seasons so far. It follows the exploits of Otis, the son of a sex therapist (Gillian Anderson) who has set up his own sex therapy clinic at his school.
Cast members including Bridgerton star Simone Ashley (Olivia), Tanya Reynolds (Lily), Rakhee Thakrar (Emily) and Patricia Allison (Ola) will not be returning for the upcoming season.
The Midnight Club: Teen horror
Netflix has come up with yet another thrilling young adult show, The Midnight Club, an adaptation of author Christopher Pike’s novel of the same name. The Haunting of the Hill House director Mike Flanagan will steer this project. Netflix shared a teaser of the upcoming teen horror show.
This would be Mike Flanagan’s fourth production for Netflix, with his previous works being The Haunting of the Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor and Midnight Mass.
Set in 1994 at a sanatorium named ‘Rotterdam Home’, The Midnight Club revolves around a group of terminally-ill children who share ghost stories and make a pact that they’ll contact the group when any one of them dies. The story almost reminds us of another popular TV series, Are you Afraid of the Dark?
The first look of The Midnight Club promises more chills and thrills with fresh faces — William Chris Sumpter, Ruth Codd, Sauriyan Sapkota, Aya Furukwa (last seen in The Babysitter’s Club), Igby Rigney, Annarah Cymone (last seen in Midnight Mass) and Iman Benson (from Netflix sitcom BlackAF).
The Midnight Club has finished production and will be streaming from October 7.
