Netflix has dropped fresh character posters for the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy, slated to hit the streamer on August 8.
“Get ready for the ride of ur life. The final season of THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY premieres August 8,” the streaming platform wrote alongside the posters on Instagram.
The posters include Tom Hopper’s Luther Hargreeves, David Castañeda’s Diego Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman’s Allison Hargreeves, Robert Sheehan’s Klaus Hargreeves and Aidan Gallagher’s Five. Posters of Justin H. Min’s Ben, Elliot Page’s Viktor, Ritu Arya’s Lila Pitts and Colm Feore’s Sir Reginald Hargreeves were also dropped by the streamer.
The official page of the series also shared the posters on their Instagram handle. “One last trip to the moon,” they wrote alongside the poster for Tom Hopper’s character Luther, also known as Number One or his superhero alter-ego Spaceboy.
“One last slice and dice,” reads the caption of David Castañeda’s poster. About Emmy Raver-Lampman, who plays Allison Hargreeves, the makers wrote, “One last starring role.”
Head of the Umbrella Company and foster parent to the Hargreeves siblings, Sir Reginald’s poster was described as, “One last family reunion” by the makers.
The trailer dropped by the makers recently shows how the Hargreeves siblings deal with the challenge of living a normal life in the human world after losing their superpowers. It shows the Hargreeves navigating a new timeline amid chaos and bickering while trying to understand the importance of familial bonds. The video also gives a glimpse of Reginald, who is at his full potential in the upcoming season.
Based on the comic series of the same name by Gerard Way, The Umbrella Academy premiered in 2019. It follows a group of estranged siblings who embark on a journey to solve the mystery of their father’s death and save the world from an impending apocalypse.
Created by Steve Blackman, The Umbrella Academy Final Season is slated to hit Netflix on August 8.
