Actress Neena Gupta on Thursday unveiled the first poster of her upcoming project Hindi Vindi, a musical that also stars Mihir Ahuja and Guy Sebastian.
“Get ready to be swept off your feet by a symphony of emotions, rhythm, and unforgettable performances. Coming soon to a theatre near you,” wrote the 65-year-old actress alongside the poster on Instagram.
The poster captures Neena and Mihir sitting on a field. Monuments from around the world, including the Gateway of India (Mumbai) and the Sydney Opera House (Australia), fill the background. A guitar and a sitar rest beside them.
“Where words fail, music speaks,” reads the official tagline of the film.
Filmmaker Ali Sayed, who is helming the musical, is known for thrillers like Lost in Transit (2017) and The Red Envelope (2021).
Javed Khan, Mohsin Shaikh and Guy Sebastian have composed the music for Hindi Vindi. The screenplay has been developed by Sayed and Jay Sharma.
Produced by Jay, Aniket Deshkar, Anil Sharma and Sunny Shah, Hindi Vindi is slated to hit theatres in September.
Neena recently reprised her role as Manju Devi in Season 3 of the popular Prime Video show Panchayat. Mihir, on the other hand, was last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies alongside Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan and Vedang Raina.
