Feluda, the iconic sleuth of Bengali literature, is set for a new adventure in Chennai in Sandip Ray’s upcoming detective thriller Nayan Rahasya, a trailer of which was dropped by the makers today.
Based on a novella of the same name penned by Satyajit Ray, Nayan Rahasya features Indraneil Sengupta as Feluda, alongside Ayush Das as his cousin Topshe and Abhijit Guha reprising the role of Jatayu.
“Feluda is coming to a theatre near you this summer holiday. Presenting the Official Trailer of #NayanRahasya. A film by Sandip Ray, Releasing on 10th May at your nearest theaters,” Surinder Films, the production house behind the film, wrote on Instagram.
The two-minute-seven-second long trailer opens with a magic show, the star attraction of which is a gifted young boy named Jyotishko aka Nayan (Abhinav Barua) who can answer any question about numbers. However, Nayan’s talent attracts the attention of criminals who want to kidnap him. In order to protect Nayan, Feluda travels to Chennai and gets embroiled in another adventure.
Nayan Rahasya — also featuring Debnath Chatterjee, Supriya Dutta, Punya Darshan Gupta, Atmadeep Ghosh, Biswajit Chakraborty, Rajesh Sharma, Bharat Kaul and Shubhrajit Dutta in key roles — is slated to release in theatres on May 10.
