The makers of Sudhir Mishra-helmed Afwaah, starring Bhumi Pednekar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, released a soft and mellow track called Aaj Yeh Basant on April 25.

Composed by Shameer Tandon and sung by Sunetra Banerjee, the one-minute-38-second song clip shows how a rumour involving Bhumi Pednekar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui makes the entire town chase them. It brings out the vulnerable and desperate sides of the two characters as the soft melody starkly contrasts with the gritty visuals. The video shows Bhumi and Nawazuddin gasping for survival amid life-threatening situations with a set of goons in hot pursuit of them.

Afwaah revolves around the characters played by Bhumi, Nawazuddin and Sumeet Vyas and how one rumour catapults their lives into chaos. Apart from them, Sharib Hashmi, Sumit Kaul, Rockey Raina, and TJ Bhanu also feature in the movie. Produced by Anubhav Sinha under his banner Benaras Media Works, Afwaah will release on May 5.
