RRR song Naatu Naatu will be performed live by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony on March 12 (March 13 in India) at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, US.

The Academy confirmed this news on Twitter on Tuesday. “Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. Naatu Naatu LIVE at the 95th Oscars (sic),” the tweet reads.

Naatu Naatu, which went viral soon after the release of S. S. Rajamouli’s epic period action drama, fetched an Oscar 2023 nomination in the Best Original Song category alongside Rihanna’s Lift Me Up from Black Panther (Wakanda Forever), Lady Gaga’s Hold Me Up (Top Gun: Maverick), Mitski’s This is a Life (Everything Everywhere All at Once) and Diane Warren’s Applause (Tell It Like a Woman).

As of now, it is not clear whether RRR lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR will perform on the Oscars stage. Ram Charan is currently touring the US, promoting RRR ahead of the Oscars ceremony, while Jr NTR is shooting in India.

Naatu Naatu has already become an international sensation, having won the Golden Globes award for Best Original Song in January, followed by Critics Choice Awards and Hollywood Critics Association Awards.

Naatu Naatu has been composed by M.M. Keeravani with lyrics penned by Chandra Bose and sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. Prem Rakshith has choreographed the foot-tapping number.
