In one of the photos, Mumtaz posed with Fawad, who is a well-known name in India since his Bollywood debut with the 2014 romcom drama Khoobsurat. While the veteran actress is seen in a black top and maroon pants, the Pakistani actor draped a navy blue shawl over his black kurta-pyjama. Another picture shows the duo sitting on a sofa and chatting with each other in a jovial mood.

A video shared by Mumtaz also shows ghazal singer Ghulam Ali, who is popular on both sides of the border, playing the harmonium and singing as the listeners sit around him. “Ashan Khan house party, Mumtaz and Ghulam Ali sir in Pakistan,” reads the caption.

Outside the house party, Mumtaz shared a picture of herself with the qawwali singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. In the picture, the singer is seen in a bandhgala with golden embroidery and a black shirt, while Mumtaz wears a golden-coloured outfit over which she puts on a beige shawl.

Mumtaz recently made the headlines for criticising her Haré Rama Haré Krishna co-star Zeenat Aman’s advice for her Instagram followers to go for a live-in relationship with their partner before marriage. She was last seen in the 2010 American docudrama film 1 a Minute, written and directed by Indian-American actress Namrata Singh Gujral. She last appeared in a Bollywood film in 1990.
