Prime Video series Mumbai Diaries, which narrated the tale of doctors and healthcare professionals facing challenges in the aftermath of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, is all set to return for another season, the makers announced on Monday.
“Brace yourselves, a storm is about to hit. #MumbaiDiariesOnPrime, coming soon,” the official handle of Amazon Prime Video India on X posted along with a series of new posters of the upcoming instalment. The character posters present key characters with half of their faces submerged in water, staring intensely at the camera.
The highly-anticipated second season boasts an impressive lineup of stars, including Konkona Sensharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Prakash Belawadi.
Mumbai Diaries is the brainchild of creator and director Nikkhil Advani. It is produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment. The first season featured eight episodes and the second season is likely to feature the same number of episodes.
The release date of the Mumbai Diaries Season 2 has not been disclosed yet.
